Manchester United will face Sunderland in the Premier League tomorrow. Depending on the result between Tottenham and City, the Red Devils may have the chance to get the top spot.
As far as Man United’s team news against the Black Cats is concerned, manager Louis van Gaal has provided a confirmed update (Official Website) for tomorrow’s game.
The Dutch boss has confirmed that United will be without three defenders in the form of Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo and Paddy McNair.
In such a scenario, the Red Devils are short of left backs. Young was utilized in that position against Ipswich, will he play there again or should Daley Blind start as left back.
“We have three injuries – Rojo, Shaw and Paddy McNair,”
“It’s the same and we have to wait to see how the players recover because there are only two days between the two matches. Until now I don’t know how I’ll put the line-up.”
The good news is that apart from the mentioned trio, everyone is fit and there are no suspensions as well.
United will be playing at home against the worst Premier League side at the moment and should be confident of earning all three points.
