Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has provided updated team news ahead of Saturday’s game versus Stoke City.
The French boss confirmed (Official Website) that the likes of Danny Welbeck, Tomas Rosicky and Jack Wilshere are still on the road to recovery and will not be featuring anytime soon.
On the other hand, there is some positive news for the supporters as well. As per the provided link, German international Per Mertesacker who missed the last two PL games has returned to training. Moreover, Laurent Koscielny had a normal training session yesterday.
Adding to that, Arsene also claimed that the stars have returned well from the international break with no concerns.
Stoke have only earned two points from their first four league games but Arsenal cannot afford to take them lightly. The Potters have some quality players such as the likes of Afellay and Shaqiri who can trouble the Gunners’ defense.
Arsenal have only earned a single point from their two home games this season and will be hoping to earn all three points at the weekend.
