Liverpool have started their Premier League campaign with a 1-0 win over Stoke City much to the delight of the Anfield faithful.
The performance level of the Reds was not up to the mark but everyone attached with the club is delighted that in the end they earned maximum points.
Without legendary Steven Gerrard and without star playmaker Raheem Sterling, when Liverpool needed inspiration, Coutinho stepped up and secured victory for the Reds with a stunning long range goal.
The social media went crazy as the Samba star netted the winning goal very late in the game. The Reds have many renowned supporters in the world and one such celebrity is the former World No.1 Tennis star Caroline Wozniacki.
The Danish star is a huge Liverpool fan and she reacted with delight to Coutinho’s goal and Liverpool victory. Caroline Wozniacki tweeted:
