Tottenham Hotspur are very keen about signing a new striker this summer and are not giving up on luring West Brom star Saido Berahino.
Star striker Harry Kane was brilliant for the North Londoners last season but the England international has started the new season in mediocre fashion with no goals in the opening three Premier League games.
According to reports, Spurs initially made an offer of 18 million pounds to sign Berahino but the move was rejected by the Baggies. They made another offer worth 21 million pounds as well but once again the Albions rejected the bid for the former Northampton forward.
Now, Metro are reporting that Spurs are putting the final touches on their third move to sign the highly rated striker. As per the provided Daily Star link, West Brom are demanding 25 million pounds ($39 million) for their coveted star so Spurs may have to splash that sum to secure his signing.
Berahino netted 20 goals for West Brom in all competitions and has netted 10 times in 11 games for England’s U21 side.
