Having already secured two quality midfielders this summer, the Red Devils do not really need to sign another player for the center of the park.
However, if reports are anything to go by then Manchester United are close to signing another midfield star in the form of Argentine international and Lazio captain Lucas Biglia.
Metro suggest that according to French source Le 10 Sport, Manchester United have agreed personal terms on a four year contract for the 29-year-old Serie A star.
As per the provided link, the Red Devils have not yet agreed a fee with Lazio who want around $44 million for their prized asset.
Lucas Biglia was part of the Argentine squad that lost the World Cup final to Germany last year and Copa America final against Chile last month.
Biglia is not just a quality defensive midfielder but also a brilliant passer of the ball. He completed 88% passes in the Serie A last season.
The Red Devils already have Schweni, Schneiderlin, Herrera, Carrick and Fellaini in their midfield department. Will they splash the cash and sign Biglia as well? Only time will tell.

He is a brilliant midfielder but I suggest man utd should be going for a quality central defender and a world class striker at the moment given the fact that we already have excess stock in the midfield area.
