Tottenham have mainly focused on reinforcing their defense this summer and now they have turned their attention towards strengthening the midfield and attack.
If reports are anything to go by then Spurs are closing in to secure the services of Cameroonian star Clinton Njie and Portuguese international Raul Meireles.
Metro cite reports in France claiming that Spurs are close to completing 10.5 million pounds transfer of Clinton Njie.
The 21-year-old is a versatile attacker who plays as a winger and central forward for Lyon. He scored 8 goals and provided 9 assists in 33 games for the Ligue 1 side last season.
On the other hand, Italian source Gianluca Di Marzio claim that Spurs are looking to sign former Liverpool and Chelsea midfielder Raul Meireles and the North Londoners are in talks with his agent to strike a deal.
Meireles currently plays for Turkish club Fenerbahce. Last season, the 32-year-old star featured in 27 games, scored 2 goals and provided 4 assists.
It will be fair to say that Raul is past his best and will not improve Tottenham’s midfield. However, Njie can prove to be a brilliant addition if Spurs can lure him.
