Manchester United have started their new Premier League campaign with a victory over North London side Tottenham.
The Red Devils were by no means impressive on the day and an own goal (Kyle Walker) was needed for them to earn all three points.
Defenders mainly performed brilliantly for United, especially new summer signing Matteo Darmian. Another new signing, Bastian Schweinsteiger also made his competitive debut for the Red Devils.
The German international posted a picture and tweeted delight after winning the first game of the season.
