Manchester United are Looking to Seal 'Perfect Deal' in Days

Manchester United David de GeaManchester United manager Louis van Gaal must realize that his current squad is not good enough to beat the best of teams in the Premier League and in Europe.
The Red Devils have faced relatively weaker sides in the Premier League so far and have only scored 2 goals, one own goal and the other deflected. Hence the Dutch manager must reinforce the attack in the coming days.
The Old Trafford club are serious about improving their offense this summer but the time is not on their side as the transfer window will close on Tuesday.
According to reports, Manchester United are going to make a last ditch effort to sign Welsh international and Real Madrid star Gareth Bale in a deal involving De Gea as well. Source told Starsport:

“This would be the perfect deal for the club.”

As per the provided Daily Star link, the Red Devils will offer 65 million pounds plus David de Gea to secure the signing of the former Tottenham playmaker. Moreover, United are willing to offer Gareth Bale huge wages worth 300,000 pounds a week.

  1. Frustrated Red says:

Why is Van Gaal so convinced he can sign Bale?
Van Gaal is showing himself to be obsessed with signing certain players although they and their clubs flatly refuse to do business!
United need to buy a central defender and now 2 strikers as Hernandez has been told he can move before the window closes.
Will Van Gaal sign anyone before Tuesday?
If he does it will be a Moyes type signing… desperate and not one United need.
Van Gaal and Woodward have made a total cock-up of signing players since Darmian’s signed up and have never looked like signing that marquee player they keep talking about… and why? … because United are not in Barca, Real or Bayern’s league when it comes to signing marquee players for they can’t win anything other than the EPL!

  2. Chucks says:

They want to make another fire brigade approach signing which may eventually turns out to be a mere waste of money though we hope not. Lvg should not spend all summer trying in vain on deals that cannot come good. Striker and defender needed.

  3. Okidi Tom says:

If LVG wants Bale, he should refuse to sell De Gea to Real Madrid unless they offer him Bale; I don’t know why LVG ignored signing Lacazatte?, because currently a sollution to Man Utd problems is not Gareth Bale but a lithel striker.
