The transfer saga surrounding Spanish international and Barcelona attacker Pedro continues with another latest rumor.
If reports are anything to go by then Manchester United have moved another step closer to signing Pedro.
Metro cite reports in Spanish media claiming that Barcelona are resigned to lose the La Roja star to Man United and have opened talks to sign his replacement in the form of Celta Vigo star Nolito.
As per the above given link, the Catalan giants have already accepted Man United’s $38.6m bid for Pedro and the latest move for the replacement indicates that he is set to depart.
Pedro is a top quality star who deserves regular first team football. Last season, Pedro featured in 35 league games for Barca but could only start 15 times. Moreover, he only started 4 games in the Champions League and 3 in the Copa del Rey.
Despite warming the bench more often than not, the Spaniard scored 11 goals and provided 9 assists last season. Pedro is desperate for more first team opportunities and a move to Manchester United can be the perfect decision.
