Liverpool are Ready to Complete Two More Key Signings

Liverpool FCThe Reds started their new Premier League campaign with a victory over Stoke City on Sunday thanks to a stunning goal from Phil Coutinho.
As far as the transfers are concerned, Liverpool have completed seven key signings this summer and still want to add more quality players to the squad.
If reports are anything to go by then Liverpool want to add two more vital players, a defensive midfielder and another playmaker.
Metro cite reports in Spain claiming that Liverpool have re-entered the race to sign young Barcelona attacker Adama Traore. The Catalan youngster was brilliant in the Segunda Division last season and as per the provided link, the Reds may finally sign him this summer.
On the other hand, there are doubts about the future of Liverpool star Lucas Leiva and the Reds will have to replace the Brazilian if he does depart.
Reports suggest that Liverpool are clear to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s defensive midfielder Thiago Motta with the French club willing to sell him. The former Inter Milan star can prove to be a top signing for the Merseysiders.

I believe that either or both of these signings would be very good business. Thiago would add great value and experience in the DM role, and could mentor someone like Can to take over in years to come. Traore is definitely one for the future, and I seem to remember we last won the CL with a (admittedly much maligned Djimi) Traore!

It sounds good, but how close to the truth are we? I believe that if there is a need it must be satisfied. So go out and get them. I think Rodgers owes the supporters big time after losing the trophy in 2013/14. So it’s payback time.
The supporters have waited long enough. Adam Lallana is still not up to Liverpool standard and needs a lot attention from the coach to bring him up to speed.
