Lately, Liverpool have been busy in trimming their squad and have loaned out two players in the form of Mario Balotelli and Lazar Markovic.
The duo were signed last summer but after just one season, manager Brendan Rodgers has opted to send the Italian striker to AC Milan and the Serbian attacker to Fenerbahce.
On the other hand, reports suggest that Liverpool are closing in to sign Dynamo Kyiv star playmaker Andriy Yarmolenko. As per the provided Sport Witness link, the Reds are ready to pay the release clause of $23.7 million to secure his services.
The Ukrainian international mainly plays as a right winger for both club and country and has netted 120 senior goals in his career.
Last season, in 43 appearances, Andriy scored 19 goals and provided 21 assists. This season, he has directly contributed in 11 goals already (6 goals, 5 assists) in just 7 games.
If Andriy does join Liverpool, expect Brendan Rodgers to utilize him in his preferred attacking position where he has been very effective for Dynamo. The 25-year-old attacker should start in attack with Coutinho and Firmino behind Christian Benteke.
Andiry or Firmino may have to start on the bench if Sturridge is fit.
Here is how the Reds will line up with Andriy Yarmolenko.
