If reports are anything to go by then Tottenham Hotspur have finally secured the deal to sign Clinton Njie from Lyon.
The Cameroonian attacker was impressive for the Ligue 1 side last season and Spurs have lured a versatile talent. Previously, there were reports in the media claiming that the North Londoners have agreed a 17 million Euros deal to sign the 21-year-old star.
The signing seems all but done as the star has changed his Instagram bio which now says that he is a Tottenham player.
Njie normally played as a supporting/strike partner with Alexandre Lacazette but Lyon also utilized him many times on the right wing.
As far as Tottenham are concerned, manager Mauricio Pochettino has taken his time to establish the 4-2-3-1 formation and it is highly unlikely that he will switch to a double striker formation. That can be considered as his plan B though.
Hence, Njie will mainly play on the right hand side of attack for Spurs and should only play as a lone center forward when Kane is absent.
Here is how Spurs will line up with Clinton Njie.

Not a bad team, we still need a DM, Mason has no business being first choice and Beneteleb needs to improve on that showing at Old Trafford. Sven Bender has been mentioned and would love to see him at WHL. I know this is the starting XI, but Berehino and Hernandez need to be brought in before the end of the transfer window and also ship out Fazio (WBA want him, so that works out well) Lennon (swap for Miralles?) Saldano and Adeybayor, then we will be cooking, a young fast, hungry squad, we could suprise a few people if we can make these changees
