Deal Close – How Spurs will Line up with $16.5m Playmaker

Since moving to White Hart Lane from Roma, Tottenham’s record signing Erik Lamela has not been able to perform at the optimum level like he did with the Serie A side.
The first season was very difficult for the Argentine international but he did show improvements in the last campaign. However, Spurs need someone more productive in attack.
According to reports, the North Londoners are closing in to sign Dynamo Kiev playmaker Andriy Yarmolenko. The Ukrainian international had a brilliant campaign last term. Here are few stats:

• 11 Europa League Games – 4 Goals & 7 Assists

The 25-year old attacker plays on the right hand side of attack and can form a brilliant partnership for Tottenham with Eriksen and Chadli. Mauricio Pochettino does believe in his compatriot Lamela and it will be intriguing to see who he will prefer.
Nevertheless, Yarmolenko will be a quality addition and Tottenham must not waste time in securing his signature.
