Manchester United are keen on adding a world class forward to the squad this summer and Bayern Munich’s Thomas Muller is on the radar.
The Red Devils are closing in to sign the German international having already tabled a 60 million pounds bid and will now offer a huge £12m-a-year contract to finally sign the player.
The World Cup winner has scored 122 goals in 306 appearances for the Bundesliga giants.
Over the years, Thomas Muller has played in different attacking positions for the club and country. The 25-year-old star can play out-wide, behind the striker and also as an out and out striker.
Louis van Gaal has mainly used 4-2-3-1 formation this season and if Muller does join Manchester United, expect the Dutch manager to use him behind captain Wayne Rooney as an attacking midfielder or a supporting striker in the system.
Summer signing Memphis Depay and Spanish international Juan Mata will likely start with Muller in Man United’s attack. In the absence of Rooney, Muller will probably be used as the lone striker upfront.
Here is how Man United’s starting XI will look with Thomas Muller when everyone is fit.

Incase Muller Joins Man Utd, he will be used infront of Wayne Rooney; I will be very happy when Muller goes to Man Utd but I really doubt whether the deal will happen.
