Confirmed – Arsenal Starting XI Formation vs Chelsea

Arsene Wenger has named a strong squad to face the Blues in today’s Community Shield battle.
No surprise, Arsenal’s only key signing in the summer so far Petr Cech starts in goal against his former side.
As far as defense is concerned, Bellerin keeps his starting place after an impressive last season as right back. Mertesacker and Koscielny start in central defense where as Spanish international Nacho Monreal starts as left back for the Gunners.
Francis Coquelin remains Arsenal’s main defensive midfielder and the French international is there to cover in front of back four. Further upfront in midfield is former Malaga star Santi Cazorla.
As far as attack is concerned, in the absence of Alexis Sanchez, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey feature in attack.
Olivier Giroud is on the bench and England international Theo Walcott is leading the line upfront as a lone striker instead.
