Arsenal – Star Deal Agreed, World Class Signing Close

Apart from signing a top quality goal keeper, Arsenal have not reinforced any other department this summer and fans are worried.
However, if reports are anything to go by then the North Londoners may finally sign a world class striker in Karim Benzema by breaking their transfer record.
We shall come to that story later. Firstly, star defender Nacho Monreal has agreed new deal with Gunners and will soon sign the contract to extend his stay at the Emirates.
Monreal was arguably their most consistent defender last season and his extension is brilliant news for the club.
As far as Karim Benzema is concerned, Metro cite reports from Spain claiming that Arsenal are in official talks with Real Madrid to sign the French international for record 64 million Euros.
The mentioned price should tempt Real Madrid to sell but first they must line up a quality replacement for the former Lyon star as well.
Benzema has scored 134 goals in 281 games for the Los Blancos and will be a world class signing for Arsenal if he does arrive.
