Tottenham Close in on Quality Star but He's Arsenal Fan

Standard Liege Michy BatshuayiTottenham need a quality striker this summer, someone who can support Harry Kane or be the leading man in his absence.
Kane single-handedly led the line last season with virtually no support from other strikers like Roberto Soldado and Adebayor.
According to reports, the North Londoners have given up on chasing Aston Villa star striker Christian Benteke because of his huge price tag of 32.5 million pounds.
As per the provided link, Spurs are now ready to move for another Belgian international forward in the form of Marseille’s Michy Batshuayi.
One dilemma is that Michy is an Arsenal supporter and was linked with a move to Emirates. Last year he claimed.

“My preferred destinations are England or Germany. If you ask my favourite team, I’ll say Arsenal.
“It is a club with a good philosophy, where youngsters get their chance. I’ve been an Arsenal fan since I was a kid.”

The 21 year old is a quality talent who completed his move to Ligue 1 side after topping the goal-scoring charts in the Belgian league in 2013-2014 season where he scored 18 goals in 29 games for Standard Liege.
Last season, Michy netted 9 goals in 26 league games but it must be taken into consideration that he only started 6 league games and was substituted in 20 times.
According to Mirror, Batshuayi is rated around 9 million pounds. Should spurs splash the cash to sign him?
