According to reports, Spurs are closing in to sign Cameroonian international and Lyon attacker Clinton Njie having submitted an offer of 7 million pounds.
The 21-year-old Ligue 1 star can prove to be a perfect signing for Spurs as he is a versatile talent who can play in attacking midfield, as a supporting striker and also as a lone striker upfront.
Last season, Lyon’s main striker was Alexandre Lacazette and the French international was supported in attack by Njie who partnered Lacazette in strike-force and also played as a winger.
Clinton featured in 33 games for Lyon last season, scored 8 goals and provided 9 assists. Moreover, the youngster has netted 6 times in 11 games for the national side as well.
