Tottenham continue to lose their targets and this time around it is Sevilla who have won the race to sign Ukrainian star Yevhen Konoplyanka.
The speedy attacking star has been linked with move to Premier League for quite some time as Liverpool and Spurs have been interested.
However, according to reports the playmaker has finally agreed deal with Spanish side. Sevilla confirmed:
“Sevilla have reached an agreement with the player, in the absence of a medical and closing a deal with Dnipro.”
Last season, Konoplyanka featured in 42 games for Dnipro, scored 8 goals and provided 7 assists. Not to forget, Sevilla defeated Dnipro in the Europa League final and have now signed their prized asset.
Tottenham’s attacking line lacks quality as well as depth and the North Londoners badly need to reinforce up front this summer as they look to achieve their objective of qualifying for Champions League yet again.
With Yevhen Konoplyanka gone, Spurs must act swiftly to find an alternate solution. Someone like PSG star Lavezzi will be a brilliant addition.
