Amazing $39m Assist Machine Close to Man United – Deal Already in Place

Looks like Manchester United are serious about signing another attacker in the form of Nicolas Gaitan from Benfica.
Will United be keeping record signing Angel di Maria at the club this summer or not? It will be intriguing to see that if Gaitan does arrive.
According to reports, Gaitan’s agent has claimed that Man United are closing in to sign $39m rated star from Benfica and it is possible that Brazilian defender Rafael will leave Old Trafford to join the Primeira Liga side.

“Benfica and Manchester United are in negotiations over Gaitan and one offer includes Rafael to join Benfica,”
“Rafael wants to join Benfica. It’s a big European club. If the talks proceed, it will not be difficult to reach an agreement.”

This is not the first time his agent has spoken of Man United link. Few weeks back, last month, according to Metro, Gaitan’s agent claimed that there is already a deal in place with Man United for the Argentine star.

The 27 year old playmaker has been influential part of the Benfica side over the years and was pivotal again in their title winning campaign last season.
Gaitan was an absolute assist machine for the Portuguese giants in the last campaign as he provided 16 assists and also added 4 goals in 37 games for the club.
