Deals Close – How Liverpool will Line up with Quality $55m Stars

Having sold Raheem Sterling, Liverpool need to reinforce their squad with more quality stars to challenge the top teams next season.
The merseysiders have been lately linked with two Real Madrid players, midfielder Asier Illarramendi and attacker Denis Cheryshev.
According to Spanish source Fichajes, Liverpool are closing in on the mentioned Los Blancos stars with $33m move for the Austrian playmaker and $22m move for Spanish international.
As far as the former Real Sociedad Illarramendi is concerned, Liverpool lack deep lying playmaker like him and he would take the role that Xabi Alonso used to play for the Reds.
As far as Cheryshev is concerned, Liverpool already have more than a few playmakers and they added Firmino this summer as well. Expect Denis to play on the left hand side of attack as that is his natural position.
In the presence of Coutinho, Firmino, Henderson & Milner, one of Asier or Denis may have to start on the bench but here is how we believe Liverpool will line up with them if they start.
