Liverpool may have signed young striker Danny Ings from Burnley, yet they need a top quality goal scorer for the starting XI.
Reds have the likes of Origi, Balotelli, Borini, Lambert and Sturridge as well but only Daniel has the quality to start week in week out. Unfortunately, the former Chelsea star is injury prone and was mainly on the treatment table last season.
Rodgers is well aware of Liverpool’s shortcomings in attack last season and is ready to sign a top forward this summer. Benteke has been in the limelight but signing the Belgian star will be a massive blunder.
Now, reports suggest that Liverpool are keen on signing French international Lacazette from Lyon and are ready to splash mammoth €39m to secure his signature.
As per the provided Metro link, the merseysiders can get a major boost as Alexandre is moving closer to Lyon exit as he is planning to force the issue by handing in transfer request.
Liverpool have ample quality attackers and will mainly start with lone striker upfront. Here is how Liverpool will line up with Alexandre Lacazette.

That would be a great signing. I watch him play week in week out and he has got it to be a good liverpool striker, plus he is still very young.
I think we see Milner and Henderson playing behind attacking midfielders Firmono, Couthino and Lallana.
Re:Sterling Case.
I wish Liverpool do not sell him, unless He gets the demanded Amount.Meanwhile, keep Sterling in club without his service until the period of contract is over, and then” let him go for free of charge” By that time no prominent Teams will be interested in him anymore. But before the contract comes to an end, I am sure Liverpool can sell him away. ( But it may not fetch him at 50 M) Liverpool must teach him a lesson!!
What is your comments??
I’d like to ask whoever wrote this shite, what are you smoking? Benteke is far from a star let alone a superstar. He is also disliked and not wanted by 99% of real Liverpool fans. He doesn’t suit our style of play, we don’t have the wingers capable of providing crosses and without them he fails miserably and lastly he is the last player in the world you’d trust to defend set pieces, he falls asleep and this is not something that can be fixed He’s carroll without a pony tail or Balotelli without a Mohican.
