Arsenal's New Number Nine

Arsene Wenger UpsetArsenal fans have been waiting to sign a world class striker for the past few years since the departure of former captain Robin van Persie.
It will be fair to say that one of their strikers can be considered as world class and they need someone top quality in front to help them challenge for the title next season.
Gunners’ German attacker Lukas Podolski left the club to join Turkish side Galatasaray and now the number nine shirt is vacant at the Emirates.
The North Londoners should not waste much time in the transfer window and sign a top striker to fill the vacant number nine 9 shirt.
According to reports, two top class strikers are closely linked with move to Emirates and can be perfect for the Gunners.
The players in discussion were once Real Madrid team mates, Gonzalo Higuain who plays for Napoli and Karim Benzema who currently occupies the number nine shirt at Real Madrid.
The former Lyon striker Benzema scored 22 goals in 46 appearances for Spanish giants last season.
On the other hand, Higuain netted 29 goals in 58 appearances for the Italian side last season.
The duo have been proven goalscorers in different leagues but without PL experience, it is hard to differentiate between them. In your Opinion, should Arsenal splash cash to sign Higuain or Benzema?

Benzema would be a good signing. Higuan I’m not too sure about. He didn’t play well in the Copa final for Argentina

  3. David Motlhabi says:

I think Benzema will be good, I’m not sure about Higuain as well, but Benzema i have seen him play is good and not selfish on the pitch with the ball very superb.
