Arsenal Raising the Bar to Finally Sign Superstar for €50m

Arsenal seem very serious about signing a top quality striker this summer and French international Karim Benzema is the main star in the lime light.
Since joining Real Madrid, Benzema has been the main striker for the Los Blancos but things are changing after the arrival of former Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez.
The Les Bleus star received criticism for inconsistent performances last season and according to Spanish source Fichajes, Benzema is no longer wanted at the Bernabeu.
Previously, it was reported that Arsenal made a massive €43m bid to secure the services of Benzema but Real Madrid rejected the offer.
However, as per the provided Fichajes link, the need for striker and the fact that Real Madrid want to offload Benzema have motivated Wenger to raise the bar and he would be willing to splash €50m to finally sign Superstar.
The Spanish source also claim that Real Madrid want Dortmund star Marco Reus and will move for the German once Benzema is sold.
Karim has scored 134 goals and provided 86 assists in 281 games for the Spanish giants.
