Trelleborg are leading the table doing amazing things. Well equipped team, superior to everyone else in the league in most aspects and an impressive 11-0-1 record. Promotion seems bailed for them. Tomorrow they have full squad available and play the rock bottom Lunds. So, why am I backing visitors?
First of all, this here is Skanderby. Teams have played many times each other and it really seems unjustified to have one team at -2.5, especially when the squad are from one division. Also, team played in DM Cup against Landskrona on 2nd July.
Trelleborg had som quit tough games lately, last 4 wins in the championship were all by 1 goal margin.
Lunds suffered soem ugly defeats but last round produced a surprising 2-0 away win to #4 Qviding. They are a very young squad (averag age is less than 21). They can attack a lot but of course, defence is a joke.
Still, I believe visitors CAN take the win here. They have quick players, it's a derby game.Still, visitors lost with bigger margins than weaker teams than Trelleborg but I feel very comfortable backing them in this derby. If you look at record books, you will see that Lunds managed to win 3 of last 5 derbies, scoring 8 goals and allowing 2. Getting odds of 20.00+ to repeat taht success is too great value imo.
