Colombia were knocked out of the FIFA World Cup last year by Brazil as the Selecao defeated them 2-1 on the night.
Jose Pekerman’s side had revenge on their minds as the two sides collided few hours back in the Copa America group stage.
Brazillian have been on a brilliant run since getting humiliated at the hands of World champions Germany in the semi final of the World Cup. Dunga’s men had won every single match since but now the winning streak is over thanks to Jeison Murillo’s goal that proved to be enough to earn Colombia victory.
Brazil have not been able to find their groove yet. Even in the first game they needed an injury time goal to secure all three points.
The attack did not work and defensive fragility cost Samba stars the game. Cuadrado’s looping ball was not dealt with in the box and Murillo took advantage to score the only goal of the game in the 36th minute.
