Tottenham Close in to Agree Versatile Star Deal

Tottenham need quality players for various positions and must act swiftly to sign them in the transfer window.
Spurs have been in search of versatile midfielder this summer, one that can mainly be strong defensively and has creativity in the center of the park as well.
French players such as the likes of Giannelli Imbula and Morgan Schneiderlin have been linked with move to White Hart Lane.
However, it looks highly unlikely that Tottenham will sign them especially after reports are suggesting that they are close to agreeing deal with Nabil Bentaleb.
As per the provided link, the African star will sign a long term contract that will keep him at the club till 2020.
Bentableb played in 35 games in all competitions for Tottenham last season, set up three goals and scored one as well while playing mainly as defensive midfielder and at times as a central midfielder.
The Algerian star had a decent first season under the management of manager Mauricio Pochettino.
However, Spurs need better, more solid option if they are to improve their defense and add more creativity in midfield. Else they can forget about top 4 position for another season.
