Tottenham Hotspur are in the market to improve their attacking options for next season and are ready to splash ample cash for right player.
The latest news suggest that the North Londoners are very much interested in Crystal Palace’s versatile attacker Yannick Bolasie.
According to reports, Spurs are closing in to sign €28m Bolasie as they are lining up move for the Congo international.
The 26 year old playmaker had a great season with Palace as he scored 4 goals and provided 11 assists in 34 league games for the Premier League side.
Yannick featured in every game for the national side at the African Cup of Nations 2015 as Congo earned third place in the competition.
Mainly prefers playing as a left winger, Bolasie has also been utilized on the right flank and as a secondary striker. He scored a brilliant hat-trick against Sunderland playing away from home.
Hence his versatility can be a factor why Spurs are keen to secure his signature. However, the price tag is an issue.
Although, as per provided Metro link, Spurs are looking to pay less than the mentioned 28 million Euro sum. If that isn’t the case then Tottenham should look elsewhere because for that price even better players than Bolasie can be bought.
Spurs are also linked with PSG reject and Argentine international Lavezzi but even though he is talented, his best days are past him. The former Napoli attacker has not been in great form and turned 30 last month.

Lavezzi would be a serious mistake – Another Soldado in the dressing room.
Spurs could get Chicarito or Benteke for much less than Bolasie and should consider those options.
If Liverpool scores Ings, consider a bid for Sturridge.
You cannot be serious with Bolasie!!! We’ve got enough play making ability – we just need Chicharito.
Lavezzi is not a bad option but at 30 years and 10 million pounds not a good deal.
Sturridge? No thanks – injury prone. Poch should continue focussing on the academy prospects, get rid of the excess players and buy in one or two world class acts so we can start challenging for league titles.
Case in point – Man U won most of their titles with home grown academy graduates…
