No Surprise – How Liverpool will Line up with Danny Ings

Liverpool fans are still waiting for the striker who will be good enough to replace Luis Suarez but it seems that the wait will continue.
After scoring 101 goals in 2013-2014 league campaign, the merseysiders could just cross half century in 2014-2015 season and failed to finish in top 4.
Without CL football, Reds have completed two main deals, both free transfers in the form of Milner and latest Danny Ings. Fans may forget about signing proven world class players.
Ings netted 12 league goals for Burnley last season and has great potential but is he the player that can get Liverpool back into the Champions League?
On the other hand, it will be no surprise if the 22 year old England international mainly finds himself on the bench when star striker Sturridge is fit. Not to forget, Liverpool already have numerous strikers and even Origi will be playing for the Reds next season having completed his loan spell.
Even Liverpool legend Carragher believes that Ings will mainly be used as a backup and has to prove that he deserves to start. It will be fair to say that to progress, Ings is not enough, Liverpool still need a top striker signing.
