Former Star Points out a Huge Issue with Manchester United

Michael Owen Wrongly Degrades Arsenal at the Worst Possible TimeManchester United splashed heavy cash last summer to secure signings under the management of Louis van Gaal.
However, even after that massive outlay, United are still in need of quality reinforcements in almost every department.
One of the major areas of concern is strike-force. The Red Devils let go Hernandez and Welbeck last season and had big names like Rooney, Falcao and Robin van Persie.
The dilemma is that Falcao did not work out and they opted against making his loan deal permanent. Robin van Persie had a season filled with injuries and his best days are behind him, may as well be sold. Rooney is the only effective striker with no decent backup.
Former star Michael Owen has pointed out this huge issue with Manchester United and claimed:

“They are going to have some issues in the striking position.”
“Falcao has gone, Robin van Persie is on the wane and then what? Wayne Rooney is a reliable goal threat, but he is not going to be around forever.”
“They have a huge void up front and after letting Danny Welbeck go.”
“You quickly realise they need to spend a whole lot more to compete and they have already spent a lot since Van Gaal arrived.”

Owen believes United made a massive mistake by letting Danny Welbeck leave last summer for Arsenal.
Although, the England international has not been anywhere near world class for Gunners but Danny had an impressive first season with United and could have proved fruitful.
Now, the Red Devils may have to splash huge sum again to sign a top quality striker this summer.
