Liverpool Next Key Signing After Milner & Kovacic

James Milner Man CityAfter an average campaign last time around under the management of Brendan Rodgers, Liverpool need top signings to bounce back next season.
The merseysiders are already busy with the transfers as they have sealed deal to secure signing of James Milner on a free transfer from Manchester City.
The Anfield faithful needs no reminder that Steven Gerrard is no more at the club and a quality replacement for the legendary star is a must.
With no Champions League football, it is hard for Reds to find a World Class player but if reports are anything to go by then Liverpool have agreed terms to sign a hugely talented midfielder in the form of Croat Mateo Kovacic.
The 21 year old is a complete midfielder and has the potential to become World Class in the years to come. Reds can be assured that Kovacic will be a brilliant capture for Liverpool Starting XI from Inter Milan.
In 44 appearances for Inter last season, Kovacic has played mainly as a creative central midfielder but has also played in attack. Scored 8 goals and provided 5 assists for the Nerazzurri.
The move has not been completed yet but having agreed terms, Liverpool are the favorites to seal his signature.
After securing him, Liverpool’s next key signing should that be of a star striker. The supporters still miss Luis Suarez as the Uruguayan was not replaced while Balo and Lambert proved useless.
Again, without CL football, it will be hard for Liverpool to sign a world class striker. Without a regular goal scorer upfront, Reds will again find it very difficult in qualifying for Champions League especially when Sturridge is injury prone.

Strikers will be key for Liverpool. Even over stocking them would not be a worry for us at this time. So Rodgers should buy at least two new strikers and not bank on Origi and Sturridge. Austin and Ings in and Mario, Borini and Lambert out. He also needs either a full time defensive mid. We have attacking mid fielders but they need to learn to score goals and make a contribution.

I think we should do away with balo, lambs and borini to pave way for jovetic to some reason borini can stay.jose enrique shld be deployed back to his position I think he is a rock.emre can the best to replace our legend. then sterling can leave.

I think that is a great formation and I want the signing of Ibrahimovic and Tevez also and do away with BALO, LAMB, BORINI and STERLING

  5. Aji says:

What is Sterling waiting for? Tell him to go….we dont him any more.

  6. Prince Kay says:

Sterling a complete disappointment, we brought him from no where to where he’s today and that’s the way he want ton pay us. Allow him to go, better options are out there.

  7. Tedrick Gibson says:

Pave way by allowing balo, being, Lamb and this notorious boy ever (Sterling) to leave,, then bring new faces like Ings and other world class strikers.

  8. John Mwangeka says:

It’s a no brainer that LFC requires a sharper attack; Ings, injury prone Sturridge and Origi are welcome but not adequate to lift us to CL level. Balo,Borini and Lambert didn’t fit in well and must leave! Midfield requires reinforcements; a strong world class defensive midfielder is required; here we need a marquee signing to act as a good cover for the defence! With Johnson and possibly Lovren and Skrtel leaving, more attention must be given to LFC’s leaking defence! And competition to Mignolet is required to improve goalkeeping! And last but not least strong, consistent and powerful backroom staff is also required to deal with the inconsistencies of the last two seasons.
