Tottenham supporters should hope that United somehow keep De Gea or else the North Londoners may lose one of their best players.
The transfer saga surrounding Manchester United star David de Gea continues. However, it looks highly likely that the Spanish international may leave Old Trafford.
De Gea was United’s best player last season and deservedly earned his nominee for the Player of the Year prize.
Real Madrid have a legendary but now inconsistent goal keeper in the form of Iker Casillas. Although, they did sign Keylor Navas last summer who is a brilliant goalie as well but De gea is on another level at the moment.
De Gea has told Manchester United that he wants to complete Real Madrid move. If that happens, United will need a quality replacement and Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris is in the lime light.
According to Star, Hugo Lloris wants to join Man United. Although the French star has not clearly claimed about his desire to move to Old Trafford but he has not ruled out a move and hinted that if De Gea departs then things can be interesting. Lloris claimed
“For the moment, there is a keeper in place at Manchester United. We remain vigilant about the latest news, but we must also keep a certain serenity in relation to all that.”
“If things should lead to something, they will lead naturally.”
The €40m rated star is one of the best goalies in the league and has had to suffer because of Spurs’ nightmare defense on many occasions.
In your Opinion, Will Lloris be the perfect replacement for De Gea?

According to Star (THE Star?) twisting what Lloris said.
He said he can’t talk about a job that doesn’t at the moment exist.
He said he hears the rumours.
He said that if there is a vacancy, and this is where the real twisting occurs, what happens will happen naturally. ‘Star’ took that to mean that he would ‘naturally’ end up at United – it can just as easily be interpreted to mean that if he ends up at United it will be ‘naturally’ and not because he has pushed for a move. I.e. He won’t push for a move, if United make an offer and Spurs accept it then he might have a decision to make. But, referring back, there is no vacancy and so no vacancy to fill, no offer from United, no chance to accept or decline by Spurs, and therefore no decision for him to make.
The folk whipping this media frenzy attempt to force the sale of one club’s player to another club are aware that he is on a very lengthy contract, aren’t they! Probably better looking for an easier target – which is probably why Cech has shorter odds on signing for United than Lloris.
Are they also aware that Levy despises United for the way they behaved over Berbatov and will not sell them any player unless he is absolutely over a barrel. Does a player who won’t force a move and is on a long contract really sound like ‘Levy being over a barrel’?
