Manchester United need a top midfielder signing in this summer transfer window but first they have confirmed midfielder departure deal.
The Red Devils midfield star Tom Cleverley who was once thought to be the boy who will replace legendary Paul Scholes will leave Old Trafford to play for Everton next season.
Everton football club have announced that the agreement has been reached for the England international who will arrive on a 5 year contract.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez claimed:
“We are extremely delighted to be welcoming Tom to Everton and I can think of many reasons as to why our fans will enjoy Tom representing our football club.”
Cleverley was loaned out to Aston Villa last summer after his poor performances in 2013-2014 season and United have made the right decision to not give him a new contract.
Nevertheless, Tom did win one Premier League title and a league cup for Man United under the management of Alex Ferguson. In 79 games for Red Devils, Cleverley scored 5 goals and provided 8 assists.
Manchester United have officially confirmed the move via their twitter account that the 25 year old midfielder will no longer be at Old Trafford.
“#mufc would like to wish Tom Cleverley the best of luck for the future as he prepares to join Everton on 1 July.”
United must now look to add a quality midfielder for their starting XI. Someone like Gundogan will be a brilliant signing.

Man U should sign Alexander Song and Sami Khedira to help them in the midfield as they are cheaper option. What’s LVG waiting for so that they can play in the pre season game.late arrival of players is not good.
We should sign someone like Schniederlin coz he is physical more capable than gundogan with lots of PL experience in his bag ,though gundogan is too a viable option ,its upto LVG ,we dont want another trophyless season.Some might say im being a glory hunter but club like united should win one silverware at least
Why is it MU is always seen to do last minute purchasing rather than purchase targeted players early and allow them to settle down and gel with the team. A club like MU should be able to attract star players to sign the contract before the team head for the tour. Bare in mind that we have the qualifying of the champions league which means the team dont have enuf time to settle down should there be late purchasing of players.
