Brilliant News for Manchester United – Worst for Liverpool

Manchester United made a swift return to the Champions League at the expense of arch rivals Liverpool who made a rapid exit from Europe’s elite competition.
The 5 time European champions had a dismal season as compared to 2013-2014 where they nearly secured the Premier League title.
Having wasted loads of cash in the transfer window last summer, Liverpool could only finish 6th in the league and could not even win a single trophy.
Well, in three years in charge of the club, Rodgers has not won a single trophy but the worst news for Liverpool supporters is that he will still be manager of the club next season.
Expect more British signings, far from world class talent arriving at Anfield much to the delight of Manchester United who have already secured one top talent in Memphis Depay from PSV Eindhoven.
There was some concern in the United faithful when top managers like Carlo Ancelotti and Jurgen Klopp were linked with the Liverpool job.
The duo could have attracted talent and would have raised expectations at Anfield.
However, now it is confirmed that both Klopp and Ancelotti will be taking a break from management and it is best news of Manchester United that mediocre Rodgers is staying. United still need some time challenge for the PL title and Liverpool remain their main challengers for CL spot next season.
There is no Suarez at Liverpool anymore who can single-handedly take them back into Champions League and Reds can forget about replacing him now that they cannot attract world class talent due to lack of CL football.
