Arsenal may have solved their defensive midfield dilemma as Francis Coquelin performed the responsibility brilliantly.
The French international will be significant for the Gunners next season but the North Londoners clearly missed out on a big name signing with Khedira joining Juventus for free.
Despite not getting many chances last season at Real Madrid, the World cup winner remains one of the best holding midfielders around.
Gunners may not desperately need a DM now still it makes no sense why Arsenal are linked with Schneiderlin and Kondogbia but did not seriously move to sign Khedira on a free transfer, even if lets say his wage demands were high.
Arsenal fans on twitter have shown their disappointment on club’s failure to secure Sami Khedira signing. However, few supporters also think that Khedira moving to Juve means Arturo Vidal may join Arsenal.
Juventus have confirmed the deal claiming:
“Juventus Football Club has today completed the signing of Sami Khedira,”
The Old Lady have strengthened their already very strong midfield and will hope to go one better next season and win the Champions League.
Here are some of the tweets of Arsenal supporters reacting on twitter to Khedira joining Juventus.
And @Arsenal fails to sign a big name player yet again, letting Khedira go to Juve

Great signing for juventus getting khedira in, surprised arsenal didnt go for him though, would be brilliant for them, what they need. — Michael Gott (@Gottoefc) June 9, 2015
Khedira to Juventus is the greatest free transfer since Pogba to Juventus. Which was the greatest free transfer since Pirlo to Juventus. — Arsenal News (@__arsenal_news_) June 9, 2015
