This will be the third match between these two teams since the beginning of the new season, as FC Zalgiris won twice in this period: 2-0 in Vilnius in the league and 2-0 in the final of the Lithuanian Cup on May 23.

FK Atlantas is one of the best-performing teams in this league in 2015 (4th position / 7-3-4 23-12), but is obvious, that none of the other nine teams owns enough potential to stop FC Zalgiris from winning its fifth consecutive title.
