Dominica has never won a World cup qualifying match at home. And even in the qualifiers for the World cup 2018 they failed to defeat the British Virgin Islands, one of the lowest ranked teams in the Concacaf, at home with the match ending in 0-0, which was enough for Dominica as they won 2-3 away. Canada has had some bad results in recent years which started with the 8-1 defeat to Honduras in the qualifers for the World cup 2014 and have dropped outside the top 100 in the Fifa ranking. But recently they are starting to get some good results again with wins over Guatemala and Puerto Rico. And while the squad of Dominica has no players from outside the Caribbean, Canada has a squad with 11 players playing in Europe and 8 players playing in the MLS. Canada are still the highest ranked team in this second round of Concacaf qualifiers and i expect them to be far too strong for the team of Dominica.
