Manchester United CLOSE in to Sign World Star for €49.5m

Manchester United are in desperate need of reinforcing their strike-force in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils had big name strikers last season but apart from Rooney, no one really showed up.
Colombian superstar Falcao only managed to score 4 league goals in 26 appearances which is a nightmare stat for someone who has scored for fun over the past few years.
Robin van Persie was the start striker for Man United in his first two seasons. Now the Dutch captain is past his best for sure and sadly his injury days has returned as well.
With only Wayne Rooney as the main driving force upfront, Man United must sign a top quality striker and reports suggest they are closing in to signing one.
According to reports, Manchester United are closing in to sign Benzema having made a €49.5m offer for the French forward.
The 27 year old former Lyon striker did not have a great season this time around with Real Madrid but still has been regularly involved in the goals.
In 44 games for Los Blancos this season, Benzema has netted 22 goals and provided 15 assists as well.
As per the provided Metro link, Arsenal have been interested in signing him as well but United for now lead the race for his signature. Moreover, they have the cash to spend and to offer him mammoth contract to seal the deal.
Goes without saying that Benzema is a top class striker and will be a brilliant addition to Louis van Gaal’s squad.
