Better than Depay: Man United CLOSE in on World Class Playmaker Signing

Manchester United may have sealed the deal to secure the signing of PSV Eindhoven attacker Memphis Depay.
However, now they are in talks to sign a playmaker who is arguably better than the Dutch international.
The player in discussion is Belgian international and current Wolfsburg star Kevin de Bruyne. According to reports, Manchester United are closing in to sign the world class playmaker as talks with his agent has begun for a potential 50 million pounds move to Old Trafford.
The former Chelsea star was not given enough time to prove himself for the Blues as Mourinho preferred other attacking options. However, the 23 year old has been sensational in the Bundesliga this season.
Depay has appeared in 39 games for PSV thus far this season and has directly contributed in 34 goals (27 goals, 7 assists).
On the other hand, Kevin de Bruyne has featured in 47 games for Wolfsburg this season and has directly contributed in no less than 42 goals, (15 goals, 25 assists).
What a sensational prospect that would be if United can also secure deal to sign de Bruyne in the summer transfer window. Both are regular scorers and creators of goals.
However, one must not forget that world class stars like Mata and Di Maria are also at Old Trafford.
Ashley Young has been sensational since the turn of the year as well but it is highly likely that Depay will start ahead of him next season as the Dutch star plays on the left hand side of attack.
