If there is a team that can call a black cat for the Russians then this is definitely Olymipakos. 3 years ago they got them in that miraculous Istanbul final basket Printezis and 2 years ago it was oly out in the semifinals of the London Final Four.
The mains players of Oly is still there, Spanoulis, Printezis and Sloukas are constant and the rest is just upgraded. oly has again managed to find a robust center that plays a fanatical defense in Dunston.
They have experience, knowledge they have and know how to play this game. On the other hand they stand CSKA, perhaps the best team so far in the Euroleague.
CSKA is a favorite, but in my opinion this will not win so easily. Oly will as always endeavor to slow down the game, numb with long possessions and if they fail then I think that the Russians and the victory will be questionable.
Oly knows to play this games and i think they can make this game interesting.
