Sharapova present a high struggling period recently, been defeated three times in row on three different tournaments (Indian Wells, Miami, Stuttgart) by Pennetta, Gavrilova and Kerber. The Russian passing trough the most weakness fight, mental and physical. Very poor performance, without the winning spirit and motivational mood.
Bacsinszky quiet solid, much better overall. On last couple of tournaments present high level of solid tennis. Her WTA place on the ranking confirms the fact of producing good results. As one of the most promessing clay court player, she never had the chance to overcome some big result on big tournament on her favourite surface.
Probable this is the moment to capture. While Sharapova struggle, the swiss look able to push a hard battle as was able on their last H2H on hard, beating Maria in straight sets.
Over on game sounds like the most predictable pick here, IMO.
