Man United to SEAL €29m Superstar Signing – Spurs Setback

EPLManchester United have big names in their strikeforce but apart from Rooney, no one has been effective.
The likes of Wayne, Falcao and Robin van Persie are world class but the Colombian international has had a torrid season since his move from Monaco whole the Dutch star has become injury prone again.
In such a scenario, the Red Devils must sign a top quality striker in the summer transfer window and perhaps reports suggest that they are close to doing so.
According to Metro, Manchester United are ready to pay €29m release clause to seal signing of Carlos Bacca.
With Falcao almost set to depart Old Trafford at the end of the season, his compatriot Bacca who plays for Sevilla can be the perfect signing.
The 28 year old has been in brilliant form for the La Liga side this season. In 32 league games, Bacca has netted 17 goals and provided 6 assists as well.
The news will be a massive setback for Tottenham Hotspur who were close to signing the South American in the winter transfer window.
Spurs have in form Harry Kane but no other quality striker in the squad, not even quality depth as Soldado and Adebayor are way past their prime. Also, holding on to Kane in the summer can be a dilemma as well.
Nevertheless, Manchester United must act swiftly and secure the signature of the Carlos Bacca.

    LoL
I doubt Spurs were ever interested in Bacca – he doesn’t suit the profile at all, and they have had their fingers burnt signing strikers outside of that profile with Soldado.
Harry Kane…a dilemma…LoL. I seriously doubt there will be any danger of Kane leaving this summer, or for several more…and that is if he ever wants to leave. He has time on his side. He can wait around a couple of years after the completion of the new stadium*, and to see its impact and what impact the youth centred policies have had – and still just be approaching his peak. Quite an incentive for a lifelong supporter, from a family of supporters, who recently said he wants to remain at WHL his whole career, and signed a contract until 2020. The media mission to sell him off after his first season, and any fan who falls for it, would be laughable if it weren’t so sad.
*And don’t forget bigger stadium will allow Spurs to come much closer to competing in terms of wages.

The signing will be an added advantage to united though he isn’t too tall but hr is quick and has alot of goals in him and with Rooney also in the picture he sure will be a success at united, Bring him on board.
