Manchester United have not had the best of seasons taking into consideration their heavy spending last summer.
The Red Devils were completely out of Europe this time around and still got knocked out of the league cup by MK Dons at the first hurdle and suffered an early exit from the FA Cup as well.
However, Louis van Gaal’s men are all set to finish season on a high by achieving one of their main objectives i.e. to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
After securing CL, United must spend more to sign further quality to challenge the best teams in Europe and also for the premier league title. One such quality player is Brazilian international Roberto Firmino.
Recent reports suggested that the Hoffenheim and Manchester United agreed €25m deal for Firmino’s transfer to Old Trafford.
However, the Samba star has come up to refute any such deal and said that for now he is focused on his current club. Firmino claimed:
“I have a contract with Hoffenheim until 2017 and I’m fine here. I grew up a lot with this club. Now I just think about Hoffenheim.”
Hoffenheim are currently 7th in Budesliga, it is high unlikely that they will qualify for next season’s CL and Roberto is surely a Champions League quality player.
Manchester United must do everything to sign the Brazilian playmaker because he has the potential to be world class and the price tag is by no means high.

We realy need a striker who is clinical at finishing and faster on the ball.Man utd is going to qualify for CL but the materials we have can’t compete at a higher level. lvg should get new signings.
The atmosphere is gradually getting auspicious for united to control the whole of Europe again . And i hope that once plyers like firmino, Alves, Mat Hummels etc and with the return of Nani, manu will definitely be a force to reckon with once again in Europe Football. Manchester United in perpetuity………..
