Murray 26th player in the world in doubles, winner of Wimbledon in the mix, 12 doubles titles. Peers for one place better ranked than teammates, five doubles titles. As doubles play together three years, have some common 150 matches. Qureshi 50th player in doubles, skilful player in the doubles competition of Klizan, this is their first joint tournament, the third match.
Klizan won the tournament in Casablanca, then is exhausted (although he said he is not) in the first round of the Monte Carlo in straight sets defeated Troicki and came to Barcelona. The single reached the semifinals, plays from 13:30 against Nishikori (last year fell in the second round, then got the points), and doubles later in the schedule.
