Arsenal finally overcame their Old Trafford hoodoo to beat Manchester United 2-1 in the FA Cup quarter finals.
Gunners finally showed that they have the X factor against the Red Devils but much has got to do with Man United’s poor defending as well.
Chamberlain literally ripper Manchester United’s defense apart taking on defenders and beating them with ease before setting up Spanish international Nacho Monreal for the opening goal.
Rooney equalized with a header from a pin point cross provided by Angel Di Maria who was later sent off in the second half much to the despair of United supporters.
To add insult to injury, United’s very own product Danny Welbeck who was sold to Arsenal last summer pounced on a horrible back pass from Valencia and scored the winner against his former club.
The reigning FA Cup champions will now face either Bradford or Reading in the semi finals and should be considered favorites to book another final place.
