Move On – Arsenal Set to Sign €36m Playmaker

Pedro BarcelonaArsenal already have more than a few quality playmakers in their squad yet they are in search of more.
The likes of Sanchez, Ozil, Cazorla, Rosicky, Ramsey, Gnabry make up a very decent attacking set up for Arsenal and Wenger has other concerns in strikeforce and defense to solve first.
However, as per latest reports, Arsenal are ready to add another playmaker in the form of Barcelona’s Pedro.
The Spanish attacker has been a significant part of Barcelona side over the years but finds himself in a complex scenario this season.
Since the arrival of Uruguayan international Luis Suarez from Liverpool, Pedro has been mostly warming the bench.
The 27 year old star has featured in 25 league games for Barcelona this season but could only start 12 of them.
Adding to that, Pedro has only been able to complete 90 minutes in just 5 league games, hence the frustration of the La Roja star is understandable.
With the constant presence of Neymar, Suarez and Messi upfront, no one is likely to get regular starts and playing time.
Pedro is a quality player and even in limited games his stats are good as he has scored 10 goals and provided 6 assists in 16 starts for Barcelona this season.
The Spaniard will surely improve Arsenal’s squad but more than a playmaker, Arsenal must sign a world class striker who would score 20+ league goals for them. Giroud and Welbeck are not up the required standard.
