Arsenal have one of the best attacking playmakers, not just in the premier league but in the world.
In contrast to that, they do not really have one of the best strike-force with decent players like Giroud and Welbeck upfront.
Yet, Arsene Wenger continues to add more top quality playmakers instead of strikers and another attacker is on his wish list now.
According to reports, Arsenal are preparing a €25 million move for Armenian international Henrikh Mkhitaryan who currently plays for Dortmund.
The German club signed Mkhitaryan from Shakhtar after his brilliant performances but the 26 year old star has not been able to hit his top for for Jurgen Klopp.
He had a great debut season with Dortmund as Henrikh netted 13 goals and provided 10 assists in 46 games for the club.
However, this season, Mkhitaryan has not been up to the mark in a Dortmund side that were fighting in the relegation zone not so long ago.
In 30 games, the Armenian has only been able to find the net twice and could only set up 2 goals.
He is a quality player without a shadow of a doubt but should Arsenal really splash the cash to sign him? Will he be a hit in the premier league?
Surely, Mkhitaryan is not better than the likes of Alexis, Cazorla, Chamberlain and Ozil and it raises questions whether spending 25 million Euros on someone who will not always start is worth it or not.
Hence, Asenal should really ditch the plans of signing another playmaker and must look to add a top class striker next summer.
