AGREED – Arsenal Seal Midfielder Deal

Arsenal have been impressive in the domestic competitions since the turn of the year and must maintain the form to finish the season on a high.
However, as usual, their league campaign has been inconsistent for the past decade.
The Gunners always perform well in one half of the season and under-perform in the other and that is the reason why they have not been able to win the league and have only ensured CL qualification every season.
Arsenal must step up big time next season with key signings and Wenger must build a team that can genuinely win the title.
For that to happen, world class arrivals are needed in the summer transfer window and Arsenal must sell players that are surplus to the requirements.
Captain Mikel Arteta has been injured for most part of this season and is by no means a better defensive midfielder than Coquelin. Adding to that, he is surely past his best.
Still, according to reports, Arsenal have sealed a new one year deal with Arteta as perhaps Wenger sees the Spanish international as an important part of the squad.
Arsenal should really besigning someone like Sami Khedira to strengthen their defensive midfield and if anyone has to get extension then that should be Czech international Tomas Rosicky who has been influential form again.
For now, Arsenal must focus on retaining the FA Cup crown and possibly finish second in the premier league.
