Friendly match between the teams of Luxembourg and Turkey at “Stade Josy Barthel” in Luxembourg City.

There is no doubt, that Luxembourg is among the weakest national football teams in Europe, as the hosts are without a single victory in eight games over the last twelve months, as five of those encounters were lost (0-3-5 5-20).

In the matter of fact, Luxembourg won points against Italy (1-1) and Belarus (1-1) in this period, but the truth is, that the hosts are not in so good form lately, having lost each of their last three games, each of them with at least three goals difference (0-0-3 0-10).

The visitors, on the other hand, showed good football in their visit at “Amsterdam Arena” on Saturday (Netherlands – Turkey 1-1 on 28.03.2015) and still have some chances at least for the third position in their qualifying group.

Fatih Terim will probably make some changes in the starting lineup, compared with the visit in Netherlands, but it doesn’t change the fact, that Turkey is much better team than Luxembourg.

In my opinion, the visitors own enough potential to win this match with more than one goal difference.
