Manchester United have many talented youngsters coming from the academy and are improving quickly.
The likes of Adnan Januzaj, James Wilson, Paddy McNair and Tyler Blackett have broken into the first team and expect more youngsters to shine.
Another talented midfielder that United have in their ranks is 20 year old Ben Pearson.
The England international was loaned to League one club Barnsley in the January window and has since impressed for his new club.
With his impressive performances, Manchester United have decided to extend his loan deal until March 8 as reported by Daily Star.
Ben is glad to have extended his stay and will like to prove himself more in the remaining days of his loan spell. He claimed:
“I’m delighted to have signed another month. There are a lot of games coming up in February and I’m delighted to be involved.”
“I was always looking to extend to see how many games I could get under my belt. I’ve started well so, hopefully, I can push on.”
Pearson has featured in 6 U21 league games this season and provided 2 assists. After joining Barnsley, he has played in 6 league one games and scored a goal as well.
Ben was named man of the match on his debut for Barnsley and the central midfield star has the potential to come good for Manchester United.

Put Rooney back up front were he belongs he should be were he plays best so l.v.g put it right put him back were he plays best he’s better than any other player you have at moment so put the best of the best back were he belongs up front
Ben Pearson brilliant player bring him back then put rooney back up front were he belongs and Pearson in midfield then watch the goals come in from rooney do it he’s better up front and title will come back to Man United trust me
It is not for fans to advise LvG to position Rooney where he belongs – up front. The man is too stuborn and arrogant. Man United must just replace him before it is too late. United is on number three because Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Everton, Southampton, etc are not playing well but are presently better than United. One can’t tell a coach how to utilise some good players like Rooney as a striker, Herera and Mata as good midfielders, Smalling as a faulty defender but Man United win games when he is playing. If LvG was doing his job properly, Man United should be at the top of the Premier League log.
